Is this game fairly open world? I haven't really seen much on that, but I would assume so if Obsidian made it.

For sure. You can walk anywhere in South Park, and there are very obscure buildings that make their way into the game.

Yes I think it was the IGN guy who said he spent like the first 30 minutes just walking around the city
