Auburn , they just got Williams at WR and when paired with Coates, will make a legit tandem. I think the defense will still be bad, but Marshall will be the first QB Malzahn has back the next year since he was coaching HS. They may not have Mason, but the two guys right behind him both had over 600 rushing. They also have this guy that Mason and CAP rave about who they say has the best skills at the RB position. Lest we not forget them picking up 5 star Racean Thomas.

Bama is Bama, but they lose a ton on defense and have a real problem at QB. They do have the WR talent, and talent on defense to make it through, but they lost a big identity last year. Mosely, Clinton-Dix, Sunseri, and two more I believe, these were BIG for them. They tried to load up on CB talent this year (which they did), because they are getting roasted through the air. They funny thing about their situation defensively, is they have a hard arse time, with Hurry up and dual threat/running QBs. In the West alone, they'll face TAMU, Auburn, MSU, and LSU will do a little bit of this as well.

MSU has a decent defense, and Dak Prescott so expect big things from that team. They bring back every one of their top receivers and aside from Perkins (who really fell off), their whole running game. They have a real do everything threat in Jameon Lewis also. Lewis's 2013 stat line read, 64 rec 923 yards 5 TDs, 13 att 117 yards 3 TDs, 3/3 84 yards 3 TDs, 51 PR yards, 446 KR yards. Guys, this team is really good and could actually finish 1 or 2 in the West.

Ole Miss should bring back a better defense than last, but they lose their RB and Moncrief. They will have to let Treadwell(sp?) become more of an outside receiver, than just the equivalent of a long hand off RB. Even with Wallace at QB (who hasn't actually improved any), the offense just take a step back.

TAMU has to figure out life without Johnny, but my belief is that they'll be more balanced. In 2015 or 2016, you should see a real dominating look in that team as they build on the defense. In 2014 though, the defense won't be much better and the offense worse. They may lose four or five games from the West alone.

Arkansas needs the recruits. They need at least a decent QB and more weapons through the air. They aren't built like Bama so just a power run game will not be enough. They will be embarrassed again this year.

Agree with all of this. I think the biggest question mark for them is their offensive line. Also, Chris Jones might be the best defensive lineman in the league.

I don't think they have a problem at QB, they picked up that kid from FSU who will start and he has talent.
