Even so, he's working towards a career for after football so he can have something to do and have more cash flow. If I won a 15 million dollar lottery tomorrow I would still try find a job and source of income

Having the foresight to do what he's currently doing leads me to believe that he wouldn't have much trouble living off of $15MM for the rest of his life if he had to.

If he couldn't live off the interest 15 million would generate then he wouldn't be very successful

You're assuming he'd even make that much. He could have a career-ending injury tomorrow and never get that second check. At least he has something planned for his life after his career is over. At worst at least he has some retail experience on his resume. If he's successful, he'll be a job creator.
