after taxes and shite, that's less than $2 million. sure, that's just one season. but most players are lucky to play into their 30s, so even if he makes around $15 mil in his career, he has to live the rest of his life off that. good on him for thinking about the rest of his life.

Good for him. John Elway took a similar path early in his career and sold cars to learn the business.
