re: Changed the battery in my thermostat and now heater doesnt work

If this is the newer style programmable thermostat it may be related. I had an internal circuit fail on mine 2 weeks ago when they installed my standby generator. They never touched the thermostat during installation but a circuit failed and the upstairs blower would not come on when A/C came on. They changed thermostat and all ok now.
