Not Monty's fault that he's extremely one-dimensional.

Nor is it Monty's fault that Tyreke doesn't have the guys around him to spread the floor.

Whatever it takes to keep Tavares employed around here I guess

There are guys like tony parker and d wade that xan finish and don't like 3s. Then there's tyreke that flat out cannot shoot an open 3. He doesn't have any form.
Is it that hard to learn how to shoot ?

I'm a big Tyreke fan, but this is hard to ignore:
09-10 ppg: 20.1
10-11 ppg: 17.8
11-12 ppg: 16.5
12-13 ppg: 15.2
13-14 ppg: 12.2
I guess you can try and write it off because his minutes have gone down each year. But then, why are his minutes going down each year?
09-10 ppg: 20.1
10-11 ppg: 17.8
11-12 ppg: 16.5
12-13 ppg: 15.2
13-14 ppg: 12.2

Those guys have always showed flashes of being able to shoot outside of 5 ft. naturally. Evans? Not so much. He looks so damn awkward taking any shots outside of the paint. Everything from his form to his habit of fading away makes me think he'll never be a competent enough shooter to be a weapon outside of the paint. He'll probably be able to up his efficiency by taking higher percentage shots but that's as far as his ability to shoot goes.

Because his lack of shooting limits his effectiveness. The role he was slotted for, ball dominating 6th man surrounded by shooters like Anderson, Morrow, Roberts and Smith, is his ideal role.

absolutely...points per 36 minutes last 4 seasons:
17.3
17.3
17.6
17.4

ya, I don't know...new coach? I wouldn't count this year in that though cause we've been going with "he's the 6th man" from day 1.

I'm not sure I've EVER seen a guard this bad at shooting.
