I was thinking the same thing, but I hope there would be something my wife and I could do to give the child every chance in "fixing" whatever is going wrong with him.

Sometimes the "wrong" that needed fixing wasn't with the kid, but the biological parents. Sorry if redundant. Didn't read while thread.
