this is just my opinion, get a starter gun, then do a build up
imo a S&W M&P 15 sport is a good starter rifle, and you can get a fairly inexpensive one from here
as far as a build up kit goes, well.. to bad carson is in banland, but there are lot's of other guys on here to point you in the right direction
