1.Intolerant yes. To automatically assume the worst possible motive for some one to have the flag without any facts or knowledge of the person
2. Ignorant- There are many other reasons for someone to have the flag besides them being a racist, in fact many others. If you do not know this-that is ignorance. If you do know this and just choose to ignore it..see No 1

That's not what intolerance is. Tolerating something isn't the same as liking it.

Honestly, I think it's ignorant for someone to act as if they can fly that flag without its racist connotations. It's ignorant of history, symbolism, etc.
Even if someone does so with the best intentions, that doesn't mean that flying the Confederate flag doesn't pretty much always have a racist connotation.
