And so did EVERY SINGLE SOLITARY US FLAG up until the 13th amendment was ratified in the year 1865, something you fairy tale revisionists of history who constantly rework it yourself choose to ignore and honor. It's just as of late really that it's been seen as offensive, because it was misused by hate groups, and understandable when it's misused, just like when the US Flag is misused at those same events, yet you make no mention of that in your renting of your high and mighty self righteous garments.
You hypocrites.

I don't agree with that, but even if you took that point of view then you could say the current American flag was redeemed by the fact that we largely solved the question of human slavery for the entire world with the Union prevailing, forced integration upon the backwards south, etc.
