After you overcome the drop in income, you'll be shocked at how efficient this arrangement is.

(And Coco, in no way, compensated me for endorsing this course of action.)

It really is a full-time job. Once the baby is in K, maybe she will be ready to go back to work. For us, it was never worth it - Mrs. Midnight was working to pay the daycare - once we did the A/B analysis on that - it was simple to keep her at home, at least until the kids started school.

This is obviously going to be the biggest hurdle, but the drop in daycare expenses will help that tremendously.

Just a matter of getting everything in order to keep it running in order just like everything else.

As for CoCo, she wants to stay home. Spend more time with the kids. Be able to keep an orderly, clean home. She has schedules. She has chores. She already has TONS of things planned and she hasn't even quit yet.

After a while, I'm sure she will miss working here and there. I've been pushing her to get her realtor license because I know she'll be great at that. But at the moment, it's the kids and home first until they are at least in K and we will go from there.
