Hard to say honestly. I need to listen again. The youtube quality wasn't that great. I heard some cool things on it. He might just be on a different plane that I can't comprehend.

Yeah, the youtube quality is crap. I can't wait to hear the good quality version.
I'm really liking "Zone." Just a great song start to finish.

Yeah- Zone is good. I like Fanfare as well.

I'd really love for him to start working in 5.1. I really think it would work great for his complex arrangements.

Fanfare is great. Reminds me of Goals, which is one of my favorite of his.

Thanks!
This album gets better with each listen. Will be one of my favorite albums this year no doubt.

Yeah, I agree. It was much better on the second listen with the HQ version.

I really wish I would have had that link about an hour ago. Just finished listening to the LQ version. Maybe I'll give it a HQ spin this afternoon.

Let me know how it sounds a second go 'round.

Just finished. Not bad, but definitely not my favorite of his.

I can't imagine anything surpassing The Empyrean for me.

1A) Shadows Collide
1B) Empyrean
2) Niandra Ladies
3) Will to Death
4) To Record Only Water
Shadows is just so awesome to me but I love Empyrean as well.

Yeah I hear ya.
Shadows, Inside of Emptiness, Will to Death, Curtains, and Empyrean- I wouldn't be able to choose one.

You think this whole JF-14 satellite thing is a joke? Just seems crazy that they would actually launch a satellite to stream the album to the area that it is over.
Yeah I don't know, man. shite is weird as hell. I don't think it's real. Who the frick would pay for that? It can't be. Even if it is a hoax (which it has to be), it's weird for JF to be involved with something like this. It's not his style.

Yes I am loving that bonus track. Sooooo good.

Now that I've had some time to digest this album, here are my thoughts:
It's probably in my top 4 of his catalogue with Shadows, Niandre, and Letur, but I'm not sure where I'd put it among those. I do like it a lot more than PBX. There's something that Enclosure has that PBX couldn't capture. The songs on enclosure feel more emotional.
I love Fanfare. It's just such a well written song and the lyrics are great.
My other favorites are Stage (love the guitar shredding), Zone ("I'm in the zoooooone, ****!"), and Crowded.
