Uh, yes we are.

Outside of events like the bayou classic, super bowl, final 4, all star games there usually isn't huge parties to go to. canal st isnt packed with fancy cars. Sure, NOLA has "parties" and "clubs". But on a regular basis, there really isn't a place for athletes to "be seen" and flaunt their money.

Holy generalization Batman!!! Definitely JR and probably Baron but has there been another Hornets/Pelican who fits this description? I doubt we're finding guys way outside of the norm.

Well yeah, it's a generalization considering I do not know every NBA player in the league. Of course they all aren't like that. Baron Davis was actually one who loved the city

Whatever. The fact is that NO won't have any more of an issue than any other city if it develops a competitive basketball culture. This is the second season of Benson ownership. For frick's sake, we have to be at least a little bit reasonable. Frankly, I think the fact that we lured Evans and Ryno are is at least a little bit encouraging. Give it time. We have time to make this a place where AD wants to stay.

this is what i mean. winning will bring people here ultimately.
