Played almost all Denver's games this season. He's not any more injury prone than EG and he actually can play a position of need. His injury last year also isn't degenerative like knee cartilage can be.

None of these options are Hibberts or Batums or Horfords, but we don't have the pieces to acquire those types of players.

The area where Asik would help wouldn't just be on offense where he shot a good % inside last season for the rockets. He'd help tremendously with guarding the paint. We're getting killed inside. AD doesn't want to guard big Cs.

i'd even do asik+Lin+this year's pick for EG+Smith straight up.

I'd be happy with a retooled bench and a staring lineup of:
Jrue
Reke
Chandler/Derozan/Deng/Hayward
AD
Asik
lineup with ryno playing starter minutes playing in the final minutes when it's benificial.
