Mandy filed suit against Chad for defamation ? Where ? All I saw him do was make a stupid Facebook post about CJJ and she launched into him .. Then her kid make the dick pic insinuation .. But you could barely decipher that, even, with his terrible grammar ...

Someone told me his current wife showed up at his doorstep with his kid he didn't know about 25+ years ago, and he married her ..

Wow! I'd never heard that story.
Back in 2000 in Omaha, my family and I sat next to Hawthorne's dad in Rosenblatt for one of the LSU games, the USC game I think. He was the nicest older gentleman you'd ever want to talk to. We didn't know who he was until about the third inning when after talking with him the first couple of innings I introduced myself. When he introduced himself as "Hawthorne" I asked if he was related to Jim Hawthorne and he said, 'yep, he's my son.'
I then started searching my memory to see if I'd said anything bad about Jim calling games but I think I was safe.

i can imagine that feeling ..
but, obviously, i don't mean the entire family .. just jim's immediate group .. and that is all from hearsay and a few confirmed stories here and there .. jim's a class act in his business ..
