Yeah, I think if it was a more adult themed version, it would work well.
With the exception of a few, superhero shows on non-subscription based networks are just too cheesy and don't have the proper funding IMO to make it work.
HBO I think could make it work.

They've been trying to bring it to FX but I don't think that's ever going to work.
