There are more students at games than those who are in the 'Roar Zone' or whatever it's called.

i'll be honest, i was emotionally angry after the UGA loss, like put on mascara and cry in the corner angry

and the last thread after the Auburn game, well i was drunk and just wanted to get everyone mad again and have a good laugh

but yeah the crowd change is noticeable, we need everybody to jump aboard that wants to

However, it seems like there are the same empty seats in the lower levels every single game.

And it's quite frustrating. My row is almost always empty and those who sit there occasionally purchased tickets in the upper levels.

I've been very proud of my row. They have filled the row every game since January started. It sucks cause we are tight, but I love it.

The student section is a complete joke. I went to every game as a student in the mid 90's and there were students that got turned away back then. What else can be more important or more fun than going to a bball game on a wed nite?

I've seen some ushers prevent ppl from moving down from upper levels. I don't know why they can't move down to fill the empty seats left open from season tix holders.
It pisses me off that so many season tix holders don't go and those seats go empty. Would create a much better atmosphere if they were full, whether from season tix holders or transfers from upper level.

[Yeah, but the students that go are nerdy. [/quote]

Not this again. Who really cares if nerdy or cool, as long as there's people there.

This. This is a problem at most NBA arenas during the regular season too.

but would be nice to see the pmac packed for a nit game

Agree. If that's where they end up for post season, the team would get plenty of energy from a full house and maybe go far. Would be fun to cheer 'em on in such a situation!

Does anyone know if getting a home game in the NIT is dependent on high attendance during regular season in regards to revenue expectations?

Schools just have to bid for a home spot and their committee judges from there. Attendance is one of many factors.
