We had these old surplus WWII packs that my Mom would buy at K&B or TG&Y or some shite. They still sell them places. They were badass.

Mostly Jansport and Wolf Creek.

Had an Alladin one with the Genie on it to start off though

I had one of those K&B specials in elementary school. They were great until they got a hole in the bottom.

I had one of those too because my dad had one when he was a kid and it was cool then.

Well let me tell you, it's not cool for a tiny girl at a school where the kids were walking around with limited too and whatnot.

It was too masculine.

It's booksack.

And yeah, jansport.

In 8th grade I thought it would be cool to have one of the mesh see-through ones, until I realized that you couldn't just throw pencils and pens into the front pouch and had to keep them in a pencil bag. That and it had no definition so the books would get all out of place and jab you when you were trying to go to class.

Had tons but the first I remember was the surplus like pack that op pictured. Also remember LL Bean and Jansport.
