O'neal lane has taken far longer than Staring

and the fricking Woodlake bridge.

City Parish needs to do something on both of these projects. Oneal was supposed to be a 2 year project that is now 4 and Woodlake Bridge was supposed to be closed for 6 months now it is approaching 2 years. For people who live near Runnels/St Jean those are the only 2 ways out of our subdivisions.

I have written letters to Boe our councilmen complaining and although he expressed his disapointment with the contractors, he blamed the delays on the utility companies not moving utilites fast enough. Either way it has been way to long.

What pisses me off the most is after all these delays/construction the frick tards designed the ONeal/S Harrells Ferry intersection with only one through lane going west on Harrells Ferry so I still have to wait 2 light cycles at times. Piss poor design.

You are wrong on this. The plans actually call for two through lanes from the east side of the O'Neal section to line up with the two through lanes on the west side. It was actually constructed this way at first. It was supposed to be one left, two through lanes and one right turn lane. You need to ask Boe or previous councilman why they begged DPW Engineers to have this changed to what is out there today (two lefts, one through and one right). Engineers had it correct in the plans and politicians needs to stay the hell out of the way.
