Actually....it usually works the other way around. A significant (> 2 cm) anatomical leg length discrepancy raises the risk of lower extremity osteoarthritis.

I've often seen folks who have had joint replacement of the lower extremity experience pelvic and/or low back pain exhibit a significant leg length discrepancy.
