I don't have an issue with going into extended coverage - actually wish it would do it more often than hanging onto 1 bar of service from Sprint - won't matter to him if it does as roaming is covered.

One way to break your Sprint service? Download an app called Roam Control and force roam onto Verizon. Sprint will send a letter stating that if you continue to do that, they will terminate their agreement with you. When they do, you won't have to pay the ETF.

I go into extended coverage all the time and the internet doesn't work the entire time. It'll say Sprint 1x in the left corner and I know I'm screwed.

A lot of times I'll put it into airplane mode for around 10 seconds and then take it off airplane mode and it'll pick up a 3G signal.

I'm on my family's plan, so I can't really complain too much. My parents don't get it because they are in Covington where LTE is abundant!

I will be switching to AT&T the second I get my own plan.
