that would be really stupid. Dr doom is a great villain but he is clearly a guy in the comics.
I can see wanting female villains as usually the villains are more interesting than leads. But there aren't many in comics.
There is a lady doc oct but those rights might be owned by sony.

I remember a storyline where it was a woman.
Could have been a"What if?" storyline.
