We are endowed by our creator with certain unalienable rights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. In order to protect these rights, all must have the rights to free speech, freedom of religion, right to bare arms, right to not have soldiers quartered in their homes without permission, right to no unreasonable searches and seizures of private property, right not to testify against yourself, right to a fair trial by a jury of your peers, right to be protected from cruel and unusual punishments, and the right to do whatever the heck you want as long as it doesn't violate anyone else's rights.
It all stems from the right to profit from your labors, to be able to enter into free enterprise and own property.
Voting is a privilege and responsibility. If you have earned it, you should not be denied the capacity to do so, but it must be earned and can be lost do to behaviors.
