I think UH is right, the ones you posted are the PULSE Elite versions. I think ours are poor man PULSE regaluh's.

They were called Pulse when they first arrived about 2 years ago before there was the Pulse elite, then to not cause confusion they just started calling them PS3 wireless stereo headsets.
I had them when they first came out before upgrading to the Pulse Elite's.
It's what they're talking about in the patch, you're fine.
