He's getting kinda old anyway. Time to get young on the oline. Isn't Strief like 30 now? Can't have much left in the tank and I'd rather not sign someone for more than they're really worth. Let's be real, Strief is an okay RT and nothing more. He did play well this past year though. How well did he grade in the run game? Is that something that's even possible to grade?

He is coming off the best year of his career.

30 yrs old is not "old" for a tackle who has only been a starter for a few seasons, and has no injury history.

We have no proven players to fill his roll and we can't afford to go looking for one either.

Losing Strief is the last thing we need to worry about with all the other shite we need to fix.
