Just finally bought a new brush. I went a 100% pure badger the first time, which is a rookie mistake. I have sensitive skin, so I finally came to the conclusion that abusing my skin with a brush just isn't the way to go. Looked at some of the best badger brushes, but read lots of good things about Muhle synthetic brushes, so I pulled the trigger on this bad boy.

These things are expensive in the US ($72), but you can get them for much less directly from London ($40). Yeah. Probably still expensive for a brush, but screw it.

Looks nice.

As noted earlier in this tread I started up a few months ago. The best badger brush is working great and I've barely gone through 1/4 of my first can of TOBS Almond scent shaving cream. That stuff is expensive but it REALLY lasts.

Still not sure which blades I prefer though - I bought about 25 Feather and 25 Astra (both were platinum). Both are great IMO.

You didn't mention how the brush feels? Similar to the badger hair?
