Williams was more of a coverage safety. Lynch was decent in coverage, but better in tackling/rushing the QB.
Different type of players. I appreciate your fandom, but Williams was just as good as Lynch, just in a different way. He deserves to be in and has been eligible longer.
Also, Lynch was part of a system (Tampa-2) and on great defenses. That will probably work against him. Some players on great teams are still waiting to get in. Reed had to wait until after Jim Kelly & Thurman Thomas, etc. of Buffalo. How long did Lynn Swann wait to make it?
