Its the only music I listen to. Been like this for almost 15 years.
Its certainly not for everyone and I prefer it that way. I'll say this though, of all the big genres in edm, dnb has by far the best DJs in terms of skill wise. This isn't up for debate.
As far as sounding the same, go listen to a set from someone like Andy C, Friction, Cyantific, Drumsound and Bassline Smith. In a two hour set you might hear 60-80 tracks.
Whoever was talking about Autechre, don't use that as a dnb reference. Listen to some of the people I mentioned. They more accurately portray the current state of dnb
