This is not a commitment or thread like Chinese58's, but a discussion to change things up a bit.

Current Commits:

Kevin Toliver II
Nick Brossette
Xavier Lewis
Kevin Henry
Hanner Shipley
Blake Ferguson

Composite top 10 of Louisiana

01. Tyron Johnson
02. Nick Brossette LSU Commit
03. Derrius Guice
04. Jerry Tillery Notre Dame commit
05. T.D. Moton
06. Garrett Thomas
07. Jaquel Gant
08. Jazz Ferguson
09. Xavier Lewis LSU Commit
10. Kevin Henry LSU Commit

Expect it to be a year of LSU vs Texas A&M. Some of these battles I see being:

1. TD Moton
2. Tyron Johnson
3. Arthur McGinnis
4. Deshawn Capers-Smith

#2, #3, and #4 all attend the same school, Warren Easton. A lot similar to Edna Karr this year in terms of 3 elite players. Hopefully the final result is different.

I see it being between LSU and Alabama for these:

1. Jazz Ferguson
2. Garrett Thomas

Tyron Johnson will definitely be a battle. I think it remains to be seen if we offer Capers-Smith.

And I think the staff wanted to see more out of Jazz Ferguson before extending an offer. For some reason I could see his recruiting going very similarly to Anthony Jones from Karr this year.

Rewatched Hanner Shipleys film the other day, and its some of the funniest I have seen.

The guy basically walks kids around like they are in a leash. One guy was pushed back all the way to his own sideline and I thought Hanner was going to put him back on his own bench.

Anyway, I really liked what I saw from him.he is more of a tackle te with great hands. He isn't going to be a quick or wr type, but he will come in very handy on short yardage third downs or goal line situations.

15 is already shaping up to be an incredible year. Love that we are finally starting to discuss it

Good work

I remember the threads a year ago saying Jazz hated LSU I'm not being a homer here..but I see this class looking a lot like the '13 class. We lock down the top 10, and go out of state for the elite players.

Agreed, we have the depth to fill most of our class with in state prospects. Will definitely help mend the fence this year

What's the word out of other states? Are we in on some of the top Florida, Mississippi, Texas prospects? What about other areas?

Obviously we've got the best player in the country committed from Florida, but I'm hoping we're looking at some TX guys as well.
