Sounds like someone asked him: "Is Jimmy Graham a Tight End or a Receiver"?
The truthful and correct answer is Tight End. If Graham wants receiver money for the franchise tag, that's his business, but don't expect Drew to bend the truth or flat out lie when he's asked a simple question.

Exactly. If he was saying Jimmy shouldn't have a problem with the franchise tag then he's out of bounds but this is nothing.

True, but it is a loaded question. Obviously, Jimmy is a TE from all previous position assessments. Why would anyone need to ask what position he is? What does it state on his All Pro selection this year?
It has been leaked that Jimmy's camp is seeking WR money. It is a possible point of contention in the negotiations with the team.
Drew is always very politically correct in his statements to the media. This just seems like something Drew could have side stepped.
