Thoughts?
dumb, they need to realize that they are getting the opportunity for a FREE college education. I do think that for football, basketball, and baseball players the scholarship needs to cover the whole cost of attendance.

Union rules:
Running backs will only be allowed to carry the ball
Quarterbacks can only throw the ball.
No night games without overtime.
Grievance Prcedure yet to be established.

There is nothing FREE about the education they are receiving. The student athletes are trading huge amounts of personal time, extreme physical effort, and risk of serious injury for their education.

Free? Tell that to those kids who go to practice, weight room, meetings,etc....30 hours a week or more.
They 'work' hard for those institutions.
