This one hurts more than it helps, in my opinion. I think everyone has gotten ahead of themselves with Sanders. Dude's contract goes up to $11M per next year and you have to pay him that for 4 years. Mayo has 8M left for 2 years after this one. So, you're tying yourself into $19M for Mayo and Sanders. I just don't see how that helps us out.
I'm also not sure how Sanders would compliment Davis, which has to be an important part of any guy locking up $44M through 2018.
