One of the schools I worked at in China's bathroom consisted of a trough, no stalls, just one wall long trough to crap in. Once a day they would come in and run water down it and wash it out.
Needless to say, I only shat in the apartment.

Wtf is wrong with them? That's one of the craziest things I've heard. I'm pretty comfortable "handling business" in public bathrooms but that's insane.
