I don't watch that show, but he was the first one that I thought of. Although, I would call it the Screech treatment.

Actors aren't typecast to the point that they were back in Spock's day (typecast after one role). Actors like Adam West were truly screwed. That only happens these days when actors take the same type of role over and over.
