Curling is pretty awesome. I follow it pretty clsoely especially on Olympic years. Unfortunately the Swedish team isn't going to be so hot in the looks department this go around.

The prospects are with Russia, Canada(Jennifer Jones) and Great Britian.

Do yourself a favor and look up the past "Women of Curling calenders". Most of them aren't in the Olympics however.

As someone who has been on a curling team in the past, it's a shame what the olympic rules do to the sport.

It's supposed to be played 3-12 beers into the evening although olympic rules prevent athletes from having a consistent buzz level to level the playing field.

Drinking couldn't hurt the U.S team performance. The men and women both struggled in Vancouver.

Hopefully we get some early wins in the round robin to give us a chance.

I am not shocked by the number. 4 years ago there was almost nothing in Sochi, it was a small resort town. Almost all of the infrastructure had to be built from scratch, including some of the ground the venues are on.

Putin liked to vacation there so that is where the games would be.
