I am not in favor of executing people for being gay, nor am in favor for executing them for drugs, but it happens.

How are you going to hold a US citizen responsible for the laws of another country?

What if murders are executed in a country that did not execute, because of the involvement of a US citizen, is that person guilty as well.

I am not saying that in the eyes of us Americans gays and murderers are the same. The point is, that in America, we execute for one violation of our laws, and Uganda has a different view. We are going to do nothing about the law, but allow some fringe group sue and American, in the US courts for the influence he may have had in Uganda?

This is not about law, it is about American politics. We do not like what you stand for and the cause you peddled influence for, so we are coming after you, well actually we are going to allow those outside of the country come after you.
