Exactly. A lot of people aren't fully understanding the role a guy like Evans plays on a team. He's not going to be a 20+ ppg scoring machine. And, yes, he's slightly overpaid but when you're New Orleans you have to do that to attract free agents.

here is a trade i came up with

i would hate to see EG go, but bringing in Zaza and Giannis would be big for this team. you get an expiring in Villanueva, to free up cap room next year.
