The video does not talk about the lethality of 22. Of course it's lethal. That's not why it's a bad option.

Ok, was on my phone last night and didn't want to burn up much of my remaining battery on the video. Now that I've seen it, I understand your point.

But, to play devil's advocate, I saw more brand new Hornady .444 bullets fail this past year than I did .22 lr. We fired about 300 .22 rounds, and 11 Hornady rounds (3 or 4 failures). Granted, that was a flukish bad box, and not a self defense round.

Usually, my .22 lr is employed for self defense--against moccasins.
