why can't people believe that some people aren't invincible, and why is so hard to believe that kit perhaps earned it with that surprisingly gritty effort? her sister had a higher WANT.

dottie was going on with her life regardless, but she came back to win. she will still always be too competitive.. regardless how much she loved her sister.. she would still make her sister earn it. i see her smile as genuinely happy she earned it.. not as given to her. in the locker room she seemed kind of annoyed she dropped it, which of course could be just an act.. but idk..

someone said they had a link to the director admitting it.. i would love to see this.. bc i have researched it before and found nothing.

Because the movie has absolutely nothing to do with Kit. Kit is not a hero, she is a catalyst for change. Kit is not the one who is on a quest, who is battling, hanging, and making choices. The bookends demonstrate that. This is Dottie's story, not Kit's.
