only the football practice field while construction is on going.

baseball is turf because just maybe, in New Orleans, it rains a lot, especially in the Spring when it is baseball season and the field drains.

Just maybe.

I am happy Tulane has a stadium on campus. I hope they draw well. As an LSU alumni I would love to see the Tulane-LSU series get started again.

But LSU has graduate programs and research dollars that blow away Tulane. So don' get started on a who's the better academic school argument. Sure Tulane students may have higher ACT scores than LSU students but when you look at the totality of LSU and it's vet school, med, school, Law School and graduate programs at the Baton Rouge campus and don't forget the Land Grant status of LSU it's not even close. LSU does more research, gets more research money and generates more revenue through research than Tulane.

ULL is a good school, but it is not in the same as LSU.
