Not mentioned here very much but I like his performance in Revolutionary Road. It is a very depressing movie with no frills. But he and Winslet each give solid performances.

Revolutionary Road is a depressing flick, but Leo is great in it. He consistently has been delivering, save Titanic and The Beach. Inception, Shutter Island, Departed, Django (a movie which his performance saves). Wolf of Wall Street is another amazing performance, but I doubt he wins, because Chiwetel Elijifor is up this year.

I thought the acting in that movie was freaking fantastic and may be his best acting to date.
The problem is the subject matter was so damn dark and depressing that most people don't even kind of want to give it credit or relate to it. I will never watch that movie again even though Leo is my favorite actor and it might be his best work.
They bring you into their world and paint it as if it's black and white reality.
It also apparently suffered from "not true to the book" stigmas.
P.S. Would not recommend watching. That movie legit messed up my mind for a couple weeks. Only movie I can ever say has done that.
ETA: Winslet was amazing in that film too. It is some of the best chemistry I've seen on screen.
