I am sure it is...but apparently it can't sustain a large population or they would have one. Living somewhere and visiting are 2 completely different things.

For people like yourself maybe....not for many others or they would move there

We like people to think this way...keeps people out. The Californians are figuring out how awesome Idaho is though. I've seen quite a few "Keep California out of Idaho" stickers around.

Edit: and I don't permanently live here anymore. Visiting now but would love to move back.

They've already fricked up OR, WA, AZ, CO, WY and MT. Keep them away.

Hard for a place to be a great place to live if they don't have the jobs to sustain the population...right?

Sandpoint is still mildly populated and property is reasonable. Beautiful area.

Obviously, Boise's a decent sized town though. My eventual goal is to find a job here and move back. Boise is growing really fast, more and more jobs are becoming available. So yea, if you're lucky enough to have a job here, it's a wonderful place. I couldn't imagine a better area to live.

Just reading about Ruby Ridge now...insane story! The crazies are always in North Idaho.
