Lived in Katy for 18 years and I can defiantly say that seven lakes and Katy HS Are not the flagships. Taylor high and cinco are with Katy being the sport team flagship did to football and Morton ranch isn't that ghetto. You want ghetto go look at Mayde creek also katy has gone downhill as a whole in recent years

I was mostly trolling. I know seven lakes was regarded as one of the best public HS in the state.

In my research to find this answer I did find that my little 2A HS is ranked as the # 7 school district in the state right behind Carrol and Highland park. not shabby for a bunch of farmers.

Morton has moved ahead of Mayde Creek on the ghetto food chain.

Sports in KATY ISD means Katy High Football is King. After that it a debate could rage on for the other schools and their sports.
