The coonasses I hunt with call them chalks, choks, or charks...some shite like that. I call em little black birds. They aren't starlings. They may be brown headed cowbirds, I really haven't shot em since I was like 12. I do know em when I see em.

My dad was gifted when it came to flushing the flock to get the most with a shot. he once picked up 68 from 1 flock with three shots from a 16 gauge.
