that was a reference to LSU's "preference" (I hesitate to use the word Policy) to only offer in-state kids when they are certain they will accept the commitment. And accept the commitment at any time, so it becomes a de facto "hold the spot" for offered in-state recruits. So if Miller had been in-state, his EE spot would not have been given to Kiel. That's all I'm saying, it's not a player thing... it's a philosophy thing. And it's something I think needs to change after this year.

agree with this in many cases. While you still have to get the parents signature/blessing many times, it seems the traditional dynamics have changed where the kids lead the parents and not the other way around.
