If you have an old/unreliable car it's super valuable for the free towing. There are some other benefits that make it worthwhile, like hotel discounts and whatnot, but I don't know if it's that worthwhile if you're almost certain you will never need a tow. But then again, it's like $80 a year, so why the hell not?
