I seem to have dropped mine one too many times and need to recover what is on it. It only clicks when I plug it in. The computer does not recognize anything is plugged in. Any suggestions would be appreciated. TIA

You are going to have to send it somewhere and pay $$$$$$
DriveSavers for example.
Or Seagate Data Recovery

I wonder if you were able to take it out of the external case and put it in your computer, then use SprinRite to recover everything?

Your hosed unless you want to spend the money. Suggest using two back up drives or 1 drive and cloud storage in the future.
