At this point, the most important thing is getting those applications in ASAP. You are going to want those hard pulls to be as old as possible once you start shopping rates.

Would it make sense to apply for a credit card with the bank that I intend to secure a mortgage with (Navy Federal)? They are currently offering a card that gives you 1.5% cash back on all purchases with no limit. Any other good credit card recommendations for my situation? I want to increase my credit limit as well but have not formally requested for an increase. My current CC is through BOA and the limit seems awfully low considering both me and my wife's income level. Thanks for the responses.
