Maybe, but the way it was explained to me is that it was company policy that the plane never flew without two pilots. That night it had one. Also, like commercial airliners it was equipped with masks that would drop down when the pressure decreased to a dangerous point.

Contrary to general policy the investigators would not cooperate with the owner of the airplane. He finally became so frustrated that he hired how own private investigators.
