There's actually studies you can Google on just that, or something along those lines that most people would be shocked by.

There are a shite ton of people walking around that suppress their attraction to children. They absolutely know its wrong and deplorable, but at the same time, you can't control how you feel, you can only control how you act or don't act upon it.

That doesn't necessarily suggest they were born that way, I know. But it's along the same lines and shows that the attraction itself is not a choice.
